Kalalau B&B is located 5 miles past Hanalei and about 2 miles from the end of the road on Kauai's North Shore. The area is renown for its beauty and lush tropical ambience. There is a (clothing optional) spa for soaking tired muscles or enjoying the starlight. Best of all you're across from a sandy swimming and snorkeling beach with miles in both directions for long walks with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The scenery is unmatched! World famous Makua (Tunnels) is less than a mile away.

Our proximity (virtually across the street) to the oceanfront Mediterranean Gourmet, and adjoining coffee shop and art gallery and Hanalei Day Spa gives you many choices if you want to treat yourself without getting in your car. The Wainiha Store about a mile away sells groceries and beer, and it has a yummy Mexican takeout. What more could you ask? We're at the beach and far from crowds.
